From the moment a candidate contacts our team, to the moment a new franchisee opens their doors, Blo supports them through a carefully planned process designed to maximize support and set our franchisees up for success in their beauty franchise.

We want to ensure you’re a good fit for our hair salon business and culture, and we want to give you ample opportunity to confirm that we are a good fit for you. Our “discovery process” is designed to help candidates like you learn more about our brand and franchise opportunity and gather the information you need to make educated decisions about partnering with Blo. At the same time, we take the time to get to know you and confirm that you have what it takes to succeed as an owner of our franchise opportunity.
The Initial Call
On your first call with our expert franchise development team members, we will share insight into the Blo beauty franchise business model and explain the steps of the process, so you know what to expect and when. Next, we’ll send you the Franchise Disclosure Document so you can begin learning about what you can anticipate as a Blo franchisee.
Educational Webinar
On a webinar with our team, you’ll dive deeper into the business, learning more about how we support our franchisees on site selection, construction, staff recruitment, marketing, and all facets of operations so they can build a successful hair salon franchise. This is also an opportunity to review the Franchise Disclosure Document and get any questions answered, and discuss financing options.
Discovery Day
If you’re approved to advance through our process, we will be delighted to host you for a virtual Discovery Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a few hours with our leadership team and get to know the experienced professionals who will be there to support you once you become a Blo beauty franchise owner. We’ll address all your questions and provide a chance for you to learn more about all the ways we will support you from initial training through ongoing best practice coaching, with a wealth of resources available, so that you can confidently and successfully open and operate your new salon business.
Moving Forward
Once you successfully complete the steps of our discovery process and sign your franchise agreement, the team kicks into high gear to ensure you receive the training and support you need to succeed. A Welcome Webinar will launch the onboarding process and give you an overview of what’s to come. Next, the Real Estate and Construction team will meet with you to review sites we’ve pre-selected for your consideration. Once you’ve narrowed down your ideal location, our team will support you through lease negotiations and prepare you for the construction of your new beauty franchise to begin. As your site is being built, our Marketing and Operations teams begin comprehensive training and guide you to ensure that all necessary steps are taken at the right time to prepare you for your Grand Opening.
Ongoing Support
The support and training you receive as a new franchisee doesn’t end when you open your doors. Blo’s team provides ongoing training and support to ensure you always have the tools and knowledge you need to be successful in your business. From regular webinars, and a digital library of training manuals and videos, to an annual conference for franchisees and their staff, there is a wealth of information always available. What’s more, you’ll be assigned a Franchise Business Coach who will provide regular and frequent check-ins to support you in meeting your goals. Our Marketing team provides a robust calendar of annual promotions and a steady flow of marketing material that you can leverage to build your brand and drive traffic to your Blo location.
