Even though 2017 is only half over, it’s safe to say that we’re blown away by our growth! Here is a look at our 2017 year so far:
Mariam
Joining us as a new Franchise Partner is Mariam Abdo of Fort Worth, TX. Mariam, a trained historian and previous college teacher, is originally from Ontario, Canada. She has three wonderful children (ages 9, 7 and 5 – all avid hockey players!). She currently works for Exporttek as VP, Sales and Marketing. As a current franchise owner of a European Wax Center, she is excited to be adding Blo to her portfolio. Mariam is set to open this summer.
Christina
We are also pleased to announce a new location coming soon in Strongsville, OH! Our new Partner Christina previously worked for First Commonwealth bank as the Ohio Market Leader managing all retail banking in Ohio. She has two little girls and is excited to join the Blo family.
Phincy
This May, we welcomed Phincy to our Blo family. Phincy is from Missouri City in the Houston area and is a mother of three. She is already a seasoned entrepreneur with a successful business providing pediatric occupational therapy services in the Houston market. Phincy first experienced Blo in Austin, TX, thanks to our Franchise Partner Athena and her team there!
Christopher
We are entering the Denver market with a 3-unit deal. Christopher, who recently relocated to Denver, is a Certified Meeting Professional who has held Top Secret clearance with the Department of Defense! Chris has also worked as a real estate agent and is looking forward to a new career with Blo.
Josh and Jeannine
Josh and Jeannine are bringing Blo to Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Experienced franchisees, Josh and Jeannine own two successful Menchies Frozen Yogurt locations.
Danny & Nancy Ayala
Nancy is an attorney who works in intellectual property law. Originally from LA, she’s excited to open her Blo Location in Las Vegas, and work for a franchise that is viable but also fun. (We’re really excited too!)
Andrea
Our hometown, Toronto, has grown considerably and we have been eager to add to our group of 9 locations here. We were thrilled to welcome Andrea to the Toronto team earlier this year. Andrea has been a loyal Blo customer for years and describes how she has used our services at different stages of her life: as a career woman, during pregnancy, and now, as the mom of young children. She loves that she can sit down for breakfast with her family and let someone else take care of her hair! Andrea is the VP of CashTech Currency Products in Toronto, and is no stranger to franchising: her husband has a Beaver Tails franchise! (If you don’t know what a Beaver Tail is, you’re missing out. It’s worth the trip to Toronto!)
